The State of Jammu & Kashmir is a region in the northern part of India, with great diversity of people and geography. In the south, Jammu is a transition zone from the Indian plains to the Himalayas. Correctly, the rest of the state is Kashmir, but in practice this title is reserved for the beautiful Vale of Kashmir, a large Himalayan valley in the northern part of the state.

The people are predominantly Muslims but because of terrorism often the whole people greatly suffer.

IFMI started ministry in Jammu in 2002 under the leadership of Pastor Sojan. The ministry has been expanded to many places in an effective way. Later Pastor Gulshan Kumar became our Co-ordinator for this region and continues the ministry. Our brethren are going through many problems and difficulties in this state.

We need your earnest prayer for peace for Jammu & Kashmir and for our brothers and sisters in Christ here.
